Born in Hampshire, England, Richard has been volunteering at conventions for over three years, both in general operations, and in a Master of Ceremonies role.

Richard is an avid science fiction fan, and attends conventions worldwide, both as a fan, and a volunteer. He also volunteers for numerous science fiction websites.

Richard has been an avid performer since his youth, and has been hosting at venues in the south of England for 7 years. When Richard isn't attending conventions, he works as a bartender in his local pub. Richard is also a professional DJ and Karaoke host, providing his services to local venues.

His hobbies include graphic design, singing and travel.
